Pioneering New Avenues in Quantum Technology — III: Cosmological Translations

Pioneering New Avenues in Quantum Technology was inspired by deeper cosmological musings on the nature of light.

The initial inquiry was simple — why does light travel at 186,000 miles per second in a vacuum? Further questions had to do with what if light existed at different constant speeds — what kinds of realities would that create? Contemplation on these led to the writing of a ten-volume mathematical treatise on the power of light. In this treatise, all the cosmos is seen as a play of four properties that reside in light — there is a profound quaternary basis that informs all surfacings of the invisible and visible, and of all matter and life. Further, this fourfold or quaternary basis is implicit in any form of nature-based quantum computation. This gives rise to Quaternary Interpretation of Quantum Dynamics (QIQD).

Chapter 2, "The Origins of a Fourfold Pattern," of Pioneering New Avenues in Quantum Technology translates this deeper inspiration into the concept of Hilbert Spaces. The abstract summarizes this:

Abstract: A thought experiment involving multiple Hilbert spaces generates a root pattern reflecting wholeness, W(L), and the four functional aspects of presence, power, knowledge, and harmony (P, Po, K, H). Beginning with an originating Hilbert space where light is imagined traveling infinitely fast, these four properties emerge. Quantization of this light into subsequent Hilbert spaces — first at a slower speed k, then at speed g, and finally at c (the known speed of light) — reveals increasingly complex structures. At speed c, a fourfold quantum object profile or code emerges, defined by space, time, energy, and gravity dimensions, which are shown to be symmetrical expressions of P, Po, K, and H. This fourfold code, reflected in the Standard Model, the Periodic Table, and cellular molecular plans, suggests a fundamental architectural principle for arising matter and life. This framework, summarized by four generated Hilbert spaces, provides a basis for understanding the evolution of quantum systems via Schrödinger’s equation, Hamiltonian operators, and eigenvalues, and a universal wavefunction to be explored in later chapters.

The table at the end of Chapter 2 sets up the logic for the imaginary layers (aka Hilbert Spaces) depicted by ‘i,’ and therefore, why Euler’s identity will have to be considered in any process of quantum materialization (to be taken up in a later chapter)…
